What You’ll Do:

We are looking for an ambitious Data Engineer to join this passionate product design, and development team. The ideal candidate will be excited to wear multiple hats, including back-end engineering, data engineering, and API development. We are looking for someone who wants to make an impact and who is results-and execution-oriented. We are a team of do-ers!

In addition to the core technology team, this position will work closely with other operational teams to monitor and support the live platform and hosted client websites. This position will be a bridge between the US based teams and the offshore dev teams. We are looking for someone who enjoys problem solving with a forward-looking mindset.

Job Responsibilities: (May include and are not limited to)

• Develop and maintain the data architecture vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technology roadmaps.
• Plan, design and execute data integration solutions by establishing new or modified interfaces, data mappings, transformations, and data routing.
• Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and AWS ‘big data’ technologies
• Integrate with a wide array of tools and services via API.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and provide ongoing support for a diverse range of services and applications across our ecosystem.
• Develop, modify, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to support various applications.
• Exploring new technology solutions to enhance functionality continually
• Uphold industry best practices for data architecture, data governance, and ETL processes
• Requirement and technical documentation
• Participating in code review
• Work with stakeholders globally, including the Executive, Product, Data, and Design teams, to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.
• Integrate well with the operations teams to understand their workflow and help form an efficient support model.
• Be open minded, humble and be willing to learn all aspects of the business.
• Demonstrate qualities of a team player.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, related field, or equivalent experience
• Experience in Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning is a plus
• 2-4 years of increasing responsibility in backend and data engineering roles in startup environments
• Experience designing and building ETL pipelines
• Stakeholder management and communication skills, including prioritizing, problem solving, and interpersonal relationship building is a plus
• Strong experience in SDLC delivery, including waterfall, hybrid and Agile methodologies. Experience delivering in an agile environment
• Experience implementing and delivering data solutions and pipelines in AWS.
• A strong understanding of data modeling, data structures, databases, and ETL processes
• An in-depth understanding of large-scale data sets, including both structured and unstructured data
• Knowledge and experience of delivering CI/CD and DevOps capabilities in a data environment
• Proficient understanding of build tools and code versioning tools, such as Git
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker is a plus.
• Experience with the following tech stack:

• Highly flexible, good tolerance for ambiguity, and able to quickly adapt to changing priorities

• A local presence in Denver is preferred

Compensation Range:

• $90,000 – $120,000
• The actual salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, industry experience, certifications and other factors.

We are looking for a motivated TA Operations Manager to join the Paralel Team.  The right candidate will support, coach, and manage a team of individuals that are responsible for shareholder and intermediary requests, facilitating money movement between the client and shareholders, completing analysis of fund and investor data, and more.  This is an opportunity to be part of an energetic, team-based culture, focused on our values of service to others and to our community.

• Oversee all aspects of Transfer Agency operations.
• Participate in and lead all aspects of Transfer Agency operations.
• Interface with investment professionals and industry firms.
• Analyze operations and work to optimize through standardization and automation.
• Interact with clients and shareholders and on a daily basis.
• Answer calls and work to resolve shareholder and client requests.
• Oversee the reconciliation, remittance, and receipt of payments.
• Use technology to analyze and present data in meaningful formats to various partners.
• Interact and collaborate with peers, management, and internal stake holders.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of Financial Industry experience.
• 3+ years of managerial experience.
• 2+ years of recent Transfer Agency experience.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook.
• Interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and on individual projects.
• Familiarity with Blue Sky, Tax Form processing and financial systems including Power Agent is a plus.

Compensation Range:

• $80,000 – $130,000
• The actual salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, industry experience, certifications and other factors.

• $55,000 - $65,000
